Riff Dealers is an DIY record label and independent webzine fully dedicated to heavy, slow, and sludgy music: stoner, doom, sludge, psychedelic. Today it’s a one-man initiative run by Kirill “Asketh”, a musician and scene enthusiast.

How It All Started
The story of Riff Dealers began in 2015 as a collaboration between members of the Brest-based band Hippie Doom Squad and Minsk post-metal band dOwnhill. At first, it was a label created out of love for heavy sound and DIY ideas. Later, a promotional group and a themed blog were created under the label’s banner.
Between 2015 and 2020, Riff Dealers released around a dozen singles and albums (including physical formats), organized shows for local and international bands (Ил, Dronegoola Machine, Estoner, Rising Sabotage, Pressor, Хвойная Вязь, and others), took part in stoner festivals abroad, and built strong connections with independent labels and artists across Eastern Europe. The label’s DIY merch and releases were sold in Europe, the U.S., and Japan.
However, global social upheavals in 2020 led to the project’s temporary hiatus, and all affiliated bands eventually disbanded.
A New Chapter
In the fall of 2024, Kirill decided to relaunch Riff Dealers — this time with a new focus. The project shifted from being a traditional label to a media platform aimed at promoting stoner-doom bands. A revamped webzine was launched, and the social media accounts were brought back to life. A new era had begun.
